Par Pacific Management Efficiency

The company has return on total asset (ROA) of 0.0745 % which means that it generated a profit of $0.0745 on every $100 spent on assets. This is way below average. Similarly, it shows a return on stockholder's equity (ROE) of 0.4429 %, meaning that it created $0.4429 on every $100 dollars invested by stockholders. Par Pacific's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Par Pacific manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities.
The company currently holds 1.61 B in liabilities with Debt to Equity (D/E) ratio of 3.11, implying the company greatly relies on financing operations through barrowing. Par Pacific Holdings has a current ratio of 0.86, indicating that it has a negative working capital and may not be able to pay financial obligations when due. Debt can assist Par Pacific until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Par Pacific's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Par Pacific Holdings sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Par to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Par Pacific's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.
