Mr. Joseph M. Oughourlian serves as a Director of Promotora de Informaciones, S.A. representing Amber Active Investors, Ltd. since December 18, 2015. He is the founder of Amber Capital, as well as sole Manager of the Amber Global Opportunities Fund portfolio. He started his career at Societe Generale in Paris in 1994 and soon moved to New York to equity derivatives division of the United States. In 1997 he began managing direct holdings of Societe Generale in New York, which led him to create Amber Fund in October 2001 with initial capital of the Bank. In November 2005 cofounded Amber Capital in New York, who grew up and got a strong presence in Europe with offices in London and Milan. He holds a MS degree in Economics from La Sorbonne University. since 2019.
