Mr. William H. Armstrong III is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Stratus Properties Inc. He is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company from 1998 to present. President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the company from 1996 to 1998. Director of Moody National REIT I, Inc. Active member of the Finance Committee of the U.S. Green Building Council. Holds a B.A. in Economics from The University of Colorado. Mr. Armstrongs 29year career in real estate and over 20 years of leadership experience with the company make him highly qualified to lead our board of directors. He was employed by the company since its inception in 1992, and has served as President since August 1996, Chief Executive Officer since May 1998 and Chairman of the Board since August 1998. He has built a highly regarded reputation in the real estate industry and has deep experience in and understanding of the Austin, Texas area, where most of our assets are located. He has longstanding established relationships with tenants, lenders, regulators, community stakeholder groups, the City of Austin and the State of Texas since 1998.
