In the same way, it shows a return on shareholders' equity (ROE) of 0.7616 %, implying that it generated $0.7616 on every 100 dollars invested. Sealed Air's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Sealed Air manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. At present, Sealed Air's Return On Assets are projected to slightly decrease based on the last few years of reporting. At present, Sealed Air's Total Current Assets are projected to decrease significantly based on the last few years of reporting. The current year's Return On Tangible Assets is expected to grow to 0.10, whereas Non Current Assets Total are forecasted to decline to about 4.4 B.
The company has 4.79 B in debt. Sealed Air has a current ratio of 1.31, which is typical for the industry and considered as normal. Debt can assist Sealed Air until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Sealed Air's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Sealed Air sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Sealed to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Sealed Air's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.
