The Hon. Philip John Remnant is Senior Independent NonExecutive Director of Prudential Plc., since January 1, 2013. Philip was a senior advisor at Credit Suisse and a vice chairman of Credit Suisse First Boston Europe and head of the UK Investment Banking Department. He was twice seconded to the role of director general of the Takeover Panel. Philip also served on the board of Northern Rock plc and as chairman of the Shareholder Executive. Philip joined the Board in January 2013 as a Nonexecutive Director, as Senior Independent Director and as a member of each of the Audit Committee, the Remuneration Committee and the Nomination Governance Committee. since 2013.
