He was Executive Chairman of the Companys former parent, TwentyFirst Century Fox, Inc., a diversified global media and entertainment company, since July 2015, after serving as its Chief Executive Officer from 1979 to July 2015 and its Chairman since 1991. Since July 2016, he has served as Chairman and acting Chief Executive Officer of 21st Century Fox subsidiaries Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network. Mr. K.R. Murdoch is the father of Messrs. J.R. Murdoch and L.K. Murdoch since 2012.
