Mr. Richard A. Noll is no longer NonExecutive Chairman of the Board of Hanesbrands Inc. Mr. Noll has served as Chairman of the Board since 2009. Following his retirement as Chief Executive Officer in 2016, he served as our Executive Chairman from 2016 to 2017 and transitioned to nonexecutive Chairman effective January 1, 2018. The Board believes Mr. Nolls knowledge of our Companys operations and strategy have provided a valuable resource to both the Board and Mr. Evans, and his significant knowledge of the people, information and resources necessary to facilitate effective communication between management and the Board have contributed to an efficient and effective Board. since 2018.
