Mr. Thomas A. Peifer is Independent Director of Dimeco, Inc., since 1993. He is retired. Prior to his retirement in 2001, Mr. Peifer was Superintendent of the Wallenpaupack Area School District in Hawley, Pennsylvania which provided him personal relationships with numerous area residents who comprise a significant portion of our marketplace. He is the President of Metlag, Inc., a franchised retail Agway store. As a local businessman and lifetime resident of Pike County, he provides knowledge of this market area in which we operate two branch locations. This proficiency is further enhanced by his numerous community and civic affiliations. His business background and participation in our local community over his lifetime brings knowledge of the local economy and business opportunities for the Bank which has led to the conclusion that he should serve on the Board. since 1993.

Dimeco Inc Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Dimeco's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Dimeco inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Dimeco. The board's role is to monitor Dimeco's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. Dimeco's inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects. On the other hand, Dimeco's outside directors are responsible for providing unbiased perspectives on the board's policies.
