Ms. Marisa Navas serves as Director of Communications and Institutional Marketing of Telefonica S.A. since 2015. She was the former Chief Editor of the economic newspaper Cinco Das, the Director of the economic newspaper La Gaceta de los Negocios, and the weekly magazine Dinero, as well as part of the founding team of the weekly magazine Inversin. Marisa joined Tabacalera in 1998 as the Director of Institutional Relations later becoming the Director of Communications for Altadis Espaa . In August 2000 she became Deputy Director General for Corporationrationrate Communications in Telefnica where she remained until being named Director of Corporationrationrate Communications and Institutional Marketing in October 2014. In 1995 Marisa received the Economic Information Young and Bright award, and in 2005 the Female Manager of the Year award presented by the Association of Business Women and Managers, registered in the CEOE amongst other awards in the Communications area. In 2006 she was awarded by the magazine Dinero in its XII Business Awards edition. She holds a Bachelors degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid. since 2015.
