Ms. Chew Gek Khim is NonExecutive Chairman of the Board of the Company. She joined the Board on 21 January 2014 and was appointed Chairman on 17 April 2014. She was the Chairman of The Straits Trading Company Limited since 24 April 2008, first as NonExecutive and NonIndependent Chairman and then as Executive Chairman since 1 November 2009. Currently, Ms Chew is also Executive Chairman of Tecity Group, which she joined in 1987. She is Chairman of Malaysia Smelting Corporation Berhad and sits on the board of ARA Asset Management Holdings Pte. Ltd. and Singapore Exchange Limited. In the preceding four years, Ms Chew also sat on the Board of CapitaLand Retail China Trust, a SGXST listed trust of the CapitaLand Group. Ms Chew is also Deputy Chairman of the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation in Singapore and Chairman of the Tan Sri Tan Foundation in Malaysia. She is a member of the Securities Industry Council of Singapore and Board of Governors of S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies. Ms Chew graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1984 and is a lawyer by training. She was awarded the Chevalier de lOrdre National du Mrite in 2010, the Singapore Businessman of The Year 2014 in 2015, and the Meritorious Service Medal at the National Day Award in 2016. since 2014.

Suntec Real Estate Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Suntec Real's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Suntec Real inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Suntec. The board's role is to monitor Suntec Real's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. Suntec Real's inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects.
