Mr. Samuel Cooperman has served as Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors of StoltNielsen Ltd since April 21, 2016. He was Independent Director of the Company since 2008. He is Chairman of the Audit Committee and Member of the Compensation Committee of the Company. Mr. Cooperman joined Stolt Nielsen in 1974 and held a number of senior management positions, including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of StoltNielsen Transportation Group. He retired in 2003. Mr. Cooperman is Chairman of New York Cruise Line and Chief Executive Officer of Cooperman Weiss Consulting LLC. He also serves as Director on the Board of National Principals Leadership Institute. Previously, he was Member of the Executive Committee of the International Chamber of Shipping until May 2010 and served as the Committees Vice Chairman for two years since 2016.
