Prior to this he served as Chief Compliance Officer at Farmington Bank and Union Savings Bank in Connecticut. His extensive banking experience coupled with years of specialization in compliance federal regulations and risk management affords him the unique skill set to further grow and oversee Higher Ones compliance and regulatory management practices. Howells is a Certified Compliance Officer and Certified Risk Professional with other official recognitions in regulatory compliance computer service banking and finance management. He holds a BS degree in Accounting and Finance from DeSales University and is President of the Bank Compliance Association of Connecticut. since 2014.
