Ms. Mary J. Reemst is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Macquarie Bank, a subsidiary of the Company. Mary joined Macquarie in 1999, having held senior investment banking roles at Bankers Trust Australia. She was Head of Credit in the Risk Management Group for 11 years, with oversight of the Macquaries wholesale and retail exposures, including lending, trading activities, equity investments and new products. Mary was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Macquaries banking subsidiary, Macquarie Bank, in July 2014. She is a Director of the Australian Bankers Association, the Australian Financial Markets Association and the Financial Markets Foundation for Children since 2014.
