Eliot University Professor President Emeritus of Harvard University and the Weil Director of the MossavarRahmani Center for Business Government at Harvards Kennedy School. Mr. Summers also serves on the board of directors of Square, Inc., where he is a member of the audit and risk committee. He became a tenured member of Harvard Universitys faculty in 1983, served as President from 2001 to 2006 and returned to Harvard in 2011. He has served in various senior policy positions in Washington, D.C., including Secretary of the Treasury from 1999 to 2001, Director of the National Economic Council for President Obama from 2009 to 2011 and Vice President of Development Economics and Chief Economist of the World Bank from 1991 to 1993. He holds a B.S. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University. Mr. Summers was chosen to serve on our Board because of his extensive economic, financial and business experience. since 2016.
