Governor Robert Jos Miller is Independent Director of International Game Technology. He has served on our board of directors since January 2000 and is the Chair of the Compliance Committee and a member of the Nominating and Corporationrationrate Governance Committee. Since June 2010 Mr. Miller has served as a principal of Robert J. Miller Consulting a consulting firm that provides assistance in establishing relationships with and building partnerships between private and government entities on the local state national and international level. Mr. Miller has also served as a Senior Advisor of Dutko Grayling a multidisciplinary government affairs and strategy management firm since June 2010 and he was a principal from July 2005 to June 2010. Mr. Miller was a partner at the Jones Vargas law firm from 1999 to 2005. From January 1989 until January 1999 Mr. Miller served as Governor of the State of Nevada and from 1987 to 1989 he served as Lieutenant Governor of the State of Nevada. Mr. Miller has served on the board of directors of Wynn Resorts Limited a developer owner and operator of destination casino resorts since 2002. In addition Mr. Miller serves on the advisory board of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Mr. Miller previously served on the board of directors of Newmont Mining Corporation and Zenith National Insurance Corporation since 2000.

International Game Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the International Game's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: International Game inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of International. The board's role is to monitor International Game's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served.
