David McGlade - Intelsat Non-Executive Chairman of the Board

Mr. David P. McGlade is NonExecutive Chairman of the Board of Company since April of 2015, and prior to that served as Deputy Chairman of the Company and its predecessor from August 2008 to April 2015. In addition, Mr. McGlade served as the Chief Executive Officer of Intelsat S.A. and its predecessor from April 2005 to March 2015. Before joining Intelsat, Mr. McGlade was the Chief Executive Officer of O2 UK, the largest subsidiary of O2 plc and a leading U.K. cellular telephone company, a position he took in October 2000. He was also an Executive Director of O2 plc. During his tenure at O2 UK and O2 plc, Mr. McGlade was a director of the GSM Association, a trade association for GSM mobile operators, and served as Chairman of its Finance Committee from February 2004 to February 2005. He was also a director of Tesco Mobile from September 2003 to March 2005 and a director of The Link, a distributor of mobile phones and other high technology consumer merchandise, from December 2000 to May 2004. Mr. McGlade is currently a director of Skyworks Solutions, Inc., an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors, and is currently the first vice chairman of the board of the EMEA Satellite Operators Association, a trade organization that serves and promotes the common interests of EMEA satellite operators.
