Meta Platforms Management Efficiency
The company has Return on Asset (ROA) of 16.74 % which means that for every $100 of assets, it generated a profit of $16.74. This is typical in the industry. Likewise, it shows a return on total equity (ROE) of 29.07 %, which means that it produced $29.07 on every 100 dollars invested by current stockholders. Meta Platforms' management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Meta Platforms manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. The company reports 14.66 B of total liabilities with total debt to equity ratio (D/E) of 0.12, which may suggest the company is not taking enough advantage from financial leverage. Meta Platforms has a current ratio of 2.75, indicating that it is in good position to pay out its debt commitments in time. Debt can assist Meta Platforms until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Meta Platforms' shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Meta Platforms sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Meta to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Meta Platforms' use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.
