Evertec Management Efficiency

The company has return on total asset (ROA) of 0.0533 % which means that it generated a profit of $0.0533 on every $100 spent on assets. This is way below average. Similarly, it shows a return on stockholder's equity (ROE) of 0.1439 %, meaning that it created $0.1439 on every $100 dollars invested by stockholders. Evertec's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Evertec manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. At present, Evertec's Return On Assets are projected to increase slightly based on the last few years of reporting. At present, Evertec's Other Current Assets are projected to increase significantly based on the last few years of reporting. The current year's Total Current Assets is expected to grow to about 581.3 M, whereas Total Assets are forecasted to decline to about 1.2 B.
The company currently holds 986.41 M in liabilities with Debt to Equity (D/E) ratio of 0.93, which is about average as compared to similar companies. Evertec has a current ratio of 2.88, suggesting that it is liquid enough and is able to pay its financial obligations when due. Debt can assist Evertec until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Evertec's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Evertec sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Evertec to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Evertec's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.
