Mr. Arwin Rasyid serves as Country Head Indonesia and President Director Chief Executive Officer CIMB Niaga of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad. He holds a Bachelors degree in Development Studies from the Faculty of Economics at University of Indonesia and holds a Master of Arts degree in International Economics and a MBA degree in International Business from the University of Hawaii USA. He has attended several noteworthy executive programmes from Harvard Business School Wharton Business School and INSEAD. Arwins main role and duties are to establish longterm strategies for the bank including assessing the corporate strategies for product and service developments of various business segments in Indonesia. He also provides policy directions and guidelines for operational support customer service information technology system and processes legal financial human resources and compliance. He served as the President Director of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk until 2007. Prior to this he was the Vice President Director of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk and President Director of PT Bank Danamon Tbk. He began his career with Bank of America in 1980 and subsequently joined Bank Niaga in 1987. During the first 11year period at Bank Niaga he became the Vice President Director and also held responsibilities for the Bank Recapitalisation Program. In 1999 Arwin became the Expert Staff at the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency responsible for risk management in Asset Management Investment and Asset Management Credit as well as Forensic Investigation. He later became the Vice Chairman of IBRA in 2000. since 2008.

CIMB Group Holdings Leadership Team
