Mr. Douglas C. Barnard is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of the Company. He was previously our vice president, general counsel, and secretary from January 2004 to December 2011. Mr. Barnard served as a director of TNGP from June 2010 to April 2018 and as chairman of the board of TNGP from February 2016 to April 2018. Prior to joining CF Industries in January 2004, Mr. Barnard had been an executive vice president and general counsel of Bcom3 Group, Inc., an advertising and marketing communication services group. Earlier in his career Mr. Barnard was a partner in the law firm of Kirkland Ellis LLP and, prior to that, was vice president, general counsel, and secretary of LifeStyle Furnishings International Ltd., a manufacturer and distributor of residential furniture and decorative fabrics. He holds a B.S. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota, and an M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago since 2012.
