Mr. Kevin B. Thompson is Independent Director of Blackline Inc, effective October 1, 2017. Since March 2010, Mr. Thompson has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SolarWinds Inc., an enterprise information technology infrastructure management software company, or SolarWinds, and has held several other positions since he joined SolarWinds in July 2006. Mr. Thompson has served as Chairman of the board of directors of SolarWinds since October 2018. Prior to joining SolarWinds, Mr. Thompson served as Chief Financial Officer of Surgient, Inc., a software company, as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SAS Institute, a business intelligence software company, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Red Hat, Inc., an enterprise software company. Currently, Mr. Thompson serves on the board of directors of Instructure, Inc., an educational technology company. Previously, Mr. Thompson served on the board of directors of Barracuda Networks, Inc., a data security and storage company, from September 2013 to June 2016, and the board of directors of NetSuite Inc., a business management software company, from September 2006 to November 2016 since 2017.
