Acorn International Management Efficiency
The company has Return on Asset of 0.46 % which means that on every $100 spent on assets, it made $0.46 of profit. This is way below average. In the same way, it shows a return on shareholders' equity (ROE) of 15.89 %, implying that it generated $15.89 on every 100 dollars invested. Acorn International's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Acorn International manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. The company has 1.44 M in debt with debt to equity (D/E) ratio of 0.02, which may show that the company is not taking advantage of profits from borrowing. Acorn International has a current ratio of 4.58, demonstrating that it is liquid and is capable to disburse its financial commitments when the payables are due. Debt can assist Acorn International until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Acorn International's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Acorn International sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Acorn to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Acorn International's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.

If you don't do this, your portfolio allocation will be skewed against your target asset allocation. So, investors can't just sell and buy back Goldman Sachs - that would be a violation of the tax code under the "wash sale" rule, and this is why you need to find a similar enough asset and use the proceeds from selling Goldman Sachs Group to buy it.
The correlation of Goldman Sachs is a statistical measure of how it moves in relation to other instruments. This measure is expressed in what is known as the correlation coefficient, which ranges between -1 and +1. A perfect positive correlation (i.e., a correlation coefficient of +1) implies that as Goldman Sachs moves, either up or down, the other security will move in the same direction. Alternatively, perfect negative correlation means that if Goldman Sachs Group moves in either direction, the perfectly negatively correlated security will move in the opposite direction. If the correlation is 0, the equities are not correlated; they are entirely random. A correlation greater than 0.8 is generally described as strong, whereas a correlation less than 0.5 is generally considered weak.
Correlation analysis and pair trading evaluation for Goldman Sachs can also be used as hedging techniques within a particular sector or industry or even over random equities to generate a better risk-adjusted return on your portfolios.Check out Trending Equities to better understand how to build diversified portfolios.
