Mr. Scott J. Ulm is CoChief Executive Officer, CoVice Chairman of the Board, Chief Risk Officer of the Company. Mr. Ulm was the CoChief Executive Officer, CoVice Chairman and Chief Risk Officer of ARMOUR since November 2009. Mr. Ulm was the Chief Investment Officer until March 2018 when Mr. Gruber assumed that position. Mr. Ulm was a CoManaging Member of ARMOUR Residential Management, LLC, our external manager, from March 2008 until December 2014. Since December 2014, Mr. Ulm was a managing member of the entity that acts as one of the general partners of ARMOUR Capital Management LP, the successor to ARRM as our external manager . Mr. Ulm has also served as a Director, CoChief Executive Officer, CoVice Chairman, Chief Investment Officer and Head of Risk Management of JAVELIN Mortgage Investment Corporationration, formerly a publiclytraded real estate investment trust . In April 2016, JAVELIN was acquired by ARMOUR pursuant to a tender offer and subsequent secondstep merger . Pursuant to the Merger, JAVELIN became a whollyowned, qualified REIT subsidiary of ARMOUR and delisted its common stock from the NYSE. Mr. Ulm has also been a director of JAVELIN, since the Merger. JAVELIN is also externallymanaged by ACM. Mr. Ulm has also served as the CoChief Executive Officer of Staton Bell Blank Check LLC, the submanager to ACM, since January 2015. Mr. Ulm also serves as Chairman of the Board and Head of Corporationrationrate Finance for BUCKLER Securities LLC, an affiliate of ACM that operates as a brokerdealer registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and provides trading and investment banking services to other financial entities since 2018.
