Mr. Rahmi Mustafa Koc serves as NonExecutive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arcelik Inc. He is Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Company. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University in Business Administration, he joined Koc Group in 1958 at Otokoc. He became Chairman of the Management Committee in 1980 and was named Chairman of the Board of Directors of Koc Holding in 1984, a post he held until 2003 when he became the Honorary Chairman. Having served as the Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce between 1995 and 1996, he then worked at various positions such as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Vehbi Koc Foundation, Honorary Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Koc University, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Rahmi M. Koc Museum and Cultural Foundation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vehbi Koc Foundation American Hospital, Honorary Chairman and Founding Member of TURMEPA, Turkish Marine Environment Protection Association, Honorary President of the Advisory Board of the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmens Association, Member of the Advisory Board of the Turkish Employers Association, CoChairman of the Business Advisory Council for South East Europe, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City, Honorary Trustee, and Founding Chairman of the Global Relations Forum.
