Earlier in his career, he was Senior Vice President of Apparel and Accessories at Adidas, and was part of the Management Group that took Adidas public in 1995. He serves on the boards of Tchibo GmbH, Borussia Dortmund GmbH Co. KGaA, Salling Group AS and Deichmann SE. He is also Chief Executive Officer of Puma SE. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Rogaland in Norway, and a MBA from the Babson Graduate School of Business in Boston, the United States. since 2013.
